Heading to Boston to attend the annual Usenix technical conference. For those attending, I and some of my VMware colleagues will be hosting a BoF on virtualization Thursday night at 8PM in the Arlington room. Please join us and bring all of your questions about VMware technology and virtualization.
Regarding critical and non-critical applications, is it best to mix the critical apps around on different platforms or is it best to have them on in a single critical application platform group?
I was also wondering also about any common known problems patching dissimilar servers residing on the same platforms? SQL servers and fileshare servers for example.
Thanks,
Chuck
